3 weeks postpartum update!

3 Weeks! The time is flying like crazy... Why did the pregnancy not go this fast!!

Kairi's Weight, Length and Head CircumferenceKairi was weighed on Thursday and she was 8lb 15oz, shes put on 13oz in 2 weeks! I'm so pleased, shes putting on a fantastic amount of weight and we are solely breastfeeding, i'm so proud! She wouldn't let me measure her properly, so I think her head circumference and length have stayed at 37cm and 55cm.

Our Week / Where we've been, out and about!

Saturday we popped to town in the sling to pick up a bed safety side and had friends come over, they spent the day at ours and we played games, watched videos, fixed the Xbox and Daddy's headphones and Kairi slept lots! We also tried the dummy out for the first time, it was a hit!!
Sunday we went to Nanny Marilyn's house for a BBQ, we met 2 other babies and saw lots of people.
Monday we were ill, so we stayed in bed all day and watched films, buy the evening we felt much better but still grumpy that we have a cold!!
Tuesday we had a house inspection and after the lady left, we went out for a trip in the sling to breastfeeding cafe where we met up with Auntie Vicki and Lilli. We tried a new position in the sling and loved it, we then popped to town and met Daddy and his friend. After we went to see Nanny to say get well soon and then Auntie Vicki and Lilli came back with us to ours for dinner, daddy made wraps and they were amazing! Our Bounty Photos also turned up and they look amazing.
Wednesday - we had a resting day, we had lots of cuddles and played on the play mat
Thursday Mummy's knee dislocated and then she fell over in the morning :( but we had to go out, so we went to the midwifes and got signed off and Kairi weighted. In the afternoon, Daddy was volunteering, so we took the tens machine back to the hospital and then went to nannies house where we saw Nanny, Auntie Vicki and Lilli. After dinner, we took a short walk to Youth Group to pick up some tins of dog food up of a friend for Coco.
Friday morning we woke up and mummy couldn't walk, so she had to hop to the doctors on crutches while Kairi stayed with Daddy. Mummy was told that she had to be on bed rest for a few days and wait for a hospital appointment as she may need an operation. As we couldn't go out, Auntie Vicki, Lilli and Nanny came and saw us. Then in the evening, Dylan came over and we watched Minecraft videos and Dr who.

What I brought this week, Nothing, we were a bit skint! I've been thinking about buying the Mobi wrap and I have a Lamaze spin and play coming on Wednesday.

Our favorites this week, Aldi nappies they don't leak so seam to be the best, hand gel for nappies on the go, vanilla coke for a first breastfeeding mummy and MAM dummies Kairi loves them and they help us all sleep while reducing SIDS!
